Prayer Reports

Thank you for your prayers with my friend who has skin cancer. Because he had about 60 lesions, his doctor told him to come to the Bay area for radiation therapy. So I asked for prayer. By the time he got here, he only had 2 or 3 lesions, and the doctor said there was no need for treatment, so he can just visit with his family here and have a vacation.

Thank you so much for all the prayers. I would not have been able to find a place to live without all the prayers received. I searched for several months trying to find a place to live. I found myself in motels from Vallejo to Richmond and also in Clayton, searching for the lowest nightly or weekly rate. One night I found myself in a position to sleep in my car, but I listened to that inner voice and called a friend who was able to put me up in a motel for one night. I stayed in a homeless shelter for three nights. I never stopped praying and I never lost faith. I know prayer works and I had faith that things would get better. I spoke to Rev. Jenean; I called every prayer ministry I knew. After weeks of searching, I finally found the perfect place to live. I have now been there two months and am truly thankful, and I know without prayers and faith, I would still be searching. Several times I have started this letter and found myself writing a book. I have narrowed it down to one page. With all my heart I thank you and ask that you continue to pray for me and all the homeless. God blesses you all.
My car was fixed at a much lower price than I expected. Išm so relieved I can hardly think.

My dog has had an ongoing seemingly chronic illness for 9 months. With God his condition cleared up overnight as I was divinely led to the right medicines. Thank you. Also, my relationship has continued to blossom and grow.

I found a property for $20,000 less than asking, in a rising market. Itšs even better than I hoped for. Itšs less than a block from the beach. Thank God, and thank you all - you have been praying with me through this long process for many months.

I called for prayer because I was in pain, and my doctors couldnšt seem to decide whose job it was to address this issue. After I called, I was able to fall asleep and be refreshed, which has been hard for me to do lately, and then I called the doctors and we straightened it out. Now my medication has been changed and I am feeling much better. Thank you!

I had put my friend on the list. He is moving here from the Northwest, and needed an apartment in San Francisco, almost immediately. Everyone said the waiting lists are long. A coworker said she knew someone who had a building. I went to see this person, and she said that oddly enough she had an apartment coming open pretty soon. I looked at it, it was great, and - the most amazing part - the rent is $200 per month less than his current apartment in Seattle!

Thank you so much for being there to pray with me and with E. I had asked for prayers before his latest adventure climbing the highest mountain in Baja California. Well, the angels were with him, I just found out he was lost in a snow storm for 2 days! He is now back at school in Arizona and healing. Knowing God guided him out of the storm reassures me God will be there for the next phase. Youth, health, strength, good medical care, mentors, angels, and pray-ers are all with him. Godšs Love surrounds him and guides the healing process. The mighty power of God and prayer are also helping me to be calm and know that all is well. Thank you.

Thank you for your prayers. I finally gave up and gave it all to God and He sure has done a much better job, all without my help. I have gotten hired for three jobs in two days, two of which I will be able to keep. I love the jobs. I know they are His will. One is working in a group home for disabled adults, and the other is Alcohol and Drug Counselor for a correctional facility. Both are opportunities to help others. God is good. I should have trusted Him right away when the world seemed to have fallen apart. I appreciate your prayers and the time you all spend doing His work. I pray that God will bless all of you. I got an "A" on my test - being observed teaching. Thank you for your prayers.

My daughter has turned the corner. All last week she was reading "The Seat of the Soul", by Gary Zukov, and kept calling me up with new insights. This is a change! She came to Easter dinner and was happy and laughing, in the best spirits we have seen her in for a long time. She said she was accepting only one medication now, for thyroid, and the thought came to her to see an acupuncturist.

I called for prayer today for my car, Spirit, because two days ago it lost all its lights. On my way into the auto shop this afternoon, I suddenly heard, "Check them." They all worked. I donšt even try to understand it. I just say, "Thank You, God."

You prayed with a hospice patient, T, and he had a most wonderful transition. I was his companion for a 12-hr vigil as he neared death, and we shared a marvelous time. It was a gift to both of us of great beauty, and serves as comfort and inspiration to his family and our hospice team.

Thanks for the prayers offered for my daughter J. during April and May, the end of her senior year. During May she was told she wouldnšt be able to graduate with her class, but through Godšs goodness she graduated on schedule and was given a district-wide award as Student of the Year. Thanks to all pray-ers, and to the Prayer Ministry generally for helping us focus on Godšs harmonious unfolding in our affairs.

A very big thank you for all the prayers for C. She is slowly coming out of her coma. Praise God! The doctors say she has some brain damage, but she already responds, moving her limbs when asked to do so. God does not do things by halves, he makes completely whole – this is what I believe. I thank God with you all for answering our prayers.

Later: Just to let you know C. was discharged from hospital on Thursday 4th October. She came to church today although in a wheel chair, we know God has healed her completely. If anyone wants to see a miracle believe me C. is one. Thank you for all your prayers for her. Please continue to pray for her.
Thank you for praying with me for perfect health. I had an ultrasound which showed a problem. I then had a biopsy and the results were "normal." Thank you for prayers with me through this time of uncertainty. I remained relatively centered in Godšs healing Presence throughout the weeks of the tests.

God bless each and every one of you for the great work you do in being Godšs channels. Our house sold ten days after being put on the market for higher than the asking price. We are so very grateful to you for all your prayers. God hears every word you speak and answers them all. How very blessed we are.

P., who was in a coma after an auto accident, is much better. She is going home tomorrow. It is a miracle. I am so grateful for your prayers.

My experiences are harmonious, my prayer work is more consistent, and my attitude is divine. Thank you pray-ers for praying with me again. This is so delightful that I am placing myself on the prayer list again. God bless you.

Since I bought a sofa bed to accommodate overnight friends, I have found my very large coffee table too big to move out of the way. Six weeks ago I found one just like it in better condition, and it was half the price of the other one. Thank you for your prayers.

God works in mysterious and wondrous ways. My husband and I had loaded up into our truck a bookcase that my daughter no longer wanted. We wanted to use it to store our china and glassware. As we were unloading the bookcase, I dropped my end of the bookcase and the whole bookcase collapsed and was no longer usable. The next day my husband suggested we go to the new Salvation Army Store and take a look there for a China cabinet. We walked into the store and there was this beautiful China cabinet in wood and glass. It was also half price in honor of the Grand Opening of this store. God had a much better plan for us and we were later able to see what a blessing it was that I dropped my daughteršs old bookcase! Thank you, God, for bringing forth this exquisite good into our experience! And thank you pray-ers for all your wonderful prayers!

I was having problems with my job. I called for prayer and a week and a half later I found a new one. Thank you for your prayers.
